Ethan and Dan's Mother is a former member of the Whitehorse Family. She is first mentioned in Reservation for Two, when Sutton accidentally wears some of her old clothes and Ben gets upset. Ethan shares with her that his mom left when he was thirteen serving a punishment in a juvenile detention center- which leads him to believe he and his penchant for finding troubles is the reason his mother left, and that his father resents him for it.
Season One[]
Ethan and Dan's mother left four years prior to the start of the show - neither they or Ben have heard word of her since, though Ben has kept all of her clothes and things she left behind in the ranch's guest room.
Season Two[]
She did not appear in season 2.
